Steven and Stephanie met when she was around 16 or 17. He was her dance teacher and when she turned 18 (on her birthday, actually) he asked her out on their first date. They have been together since.
Their brand new baby girl Shayla Victoria entered the world on September 24, 2012 weighing 6 lbs 5oz. She was so sweet during her session, placing her little hands and feet where they were most comfortable. I just followed her lead and we were left with these images of complete perfection. Truly, they are a reflection of her and her personality.
Stephanie is a Personal Support Worker. She works in a medical home with individuals that have mental disabilities. In the home she works in there are seven individuals. All except two are in wheel chairs, so her job is to do personal care, like feeding them and making sure they are comfortable and happy. I believe this momma is naturally a nurturing person. She’s got such a relaxed approach to everything; relaxed but well thought out. I have no doubt that her children will be cared for and supported no matter what may come.
Their hopes and dreams for both of their beautiful girls is that they grow up happy and healthy. Big sister Salena is so full of energy, but when it came to holding little Shayla during their session, she calmed right down.
Stephanie and Steven hope to be having at least one more baby, probably in the next three years or so. I am completely looking forward to that.

You’re so good with kids and babies, and it comes so naturally for you. It was such a calming experience and so worth doing!!!”
