Some Days Will Be Hard

As parents, some days are really hard. I remember the feeling of being in survival mode when my kids were really young, with too much to do and not enough time to do it in.

The days seemed so long, but those moments are all forgotten the moment your child has one of those “firsts”.

You know the ones, the first word, the first step, the first time they put on their own seatbelt, the first day of daycare, or kindergarten, there are so many.

Even just watching their bellies move as they sleep gets me every time.

Then we forget all the hard work and just relish in those moments of pure love and awe at our children, and in God who provided them. They’re such a blessing.

But it’s ok to notice how hard things are in these moments. And it’s ok to talk about it. Many of us are feeling it too.

I’m here to document these days so they don’t slip through your fingers. If you’re expecting a baby, reach out today!

Client Testimonial

"We chose Karen as our maternity photographer. She did such an amazing job that we hired her for our newborn photos too. We love how the pictures show Ava's personality and how much we adore her already! Her studio is amazing, so clean and she took care of wardrobe and everything! So happy!" - Kersten Schrader
