There's Always Time For The Right Things

These past few weeks have been amazing and exhausting. I've served so many amazing families this year. The walls of my client's homes are so full of memories. And soon it'll be time to take a short break for the holidays.

All too often we look at our days and think to ourselves we don't have enough hours in the day. When really we need to focus on is how we spend those hours.

Do you know what I’ve found to be true? There is always enough time for bedtime hugs and singing in the evening. Always enough time for painting that watercolour card I've been meaning to send to a friend. Always enough time to lend a helping hand and encourage someone.

There's plenty of time for good conversations.

To go for a walk and get some fresh air.

To chase new ideas and dreams and create what inspires us.

There's time to teach, and lots of time to learn.

There's always time for doing good, but it will always fall on our shoulders to make the time for what we truly want. At the end of the day, we have to decide how we spend our days.

And you know what? I'd be lying if I told you that I don't hit the bed at the end of the day feeling exhausted. BUT, I also get to fall asleep with a smile on my face and eager for the next sunrise to do it all over again.

Take the time, to make time, for the things that matter most.

About This Beautiful Family

This is Andrea, Rodrigo and their beautiful children, Daniel, Gabriela, Emilia and newborn baby girl Mariana. 🥰

We’ve worked together before, and they wanted a newborn session for baby number four.

Capturing images of their new baby was their main goal, but family images were important to them too. I always encourage everyone in the immediate family to join in on the fun. We’re welcoming a little one into the world, and with newborn photography, you really only get one chance to do that right. Babies grow so quickly!

Their newborn photo session in the Niagara, Ontario studio wasn’t rushed. We took our time and captured so many amazing moments. 💕

Some clothing provided by the studio wardrobe.

Kind Words From This Sweet Family

“We had our first child newborn photography done with you 7 years ago. We moved away from the region and that is the only reason why you didn't photograph the 2nd and 3rd child. But as soon as we moved and our fourth was on the way, we had no other photographer in mind but you.

You are an amazing photographer, we love your style, approach, and professionalism. Thank you for capturing these beautiful memories of our kids!” - Andrea Fernandez-Peña

Hi there, I'm Karen! I am obsessed with newborn baby yawns, giggling kids, and jumpsuits. I'm a mama of four who understands the busyness of everyday life. I've learned to love and enjoy it through lifestyle photography. I know what it’s like to look back on my children’s first years and feel like they flew by so quickly. I don’t want any other mamas to forget what their baby’s little fingers and toes looked like all curled up. My hope is that I can help you create albums and prints to serve as physical reminders of these sweet times throughout your baby’s early years. Contact me for info.
