PLAN YOUR SESSION WARDROBE IN FIVE SIMPLE STEPS

Do you want gorgeous images of your family that leave the focus on your faces and the connection you have? The clothing you choose to wear to your portrait session will help!  A palette of soft neutrals is best, avoiding bold patterns or logos, and embracing solid colours, layers and textures. Here are some examples.

  1. Think gray, brown, cream, tan, beige, white or light, muted denim. For more colour visuals, here's a link to my Pinterest page

  2. Gather your light neutrals for each person (for outdoor sessions you'll want layers so you're not too cold)

  3. Lay out your favourite outfit for each person next to each other on the floor (shoes too, if you're planning to be outdoors)

  4. Ensure that everyone is wearing different colours/depths on the top and bottom (you do not want all light tops and dark pants)

  5. Take a photo of your wardrobe so far and email it to karen@rolphoto.ca

STUDIO WARDROBE

To make your experience at Reflections of Life Photography even more enjoyable, I've acquired a studio wardrobe of clothing you're welcome to use during your maternity, newborn, baby and family sessions.  I've done much of the work for you, so you can just relax and enjoy the fun. Here's a peek at what awaits you. xo
