Gratitude for Reflections Photography Families

I’ve photographed hundreds of Niagara region families since 2005, and every year just gets better and better.

2023 marked my 18th year in business, and this year did not disappoint. I’m truly grateful for every family that chooses to spend the day with me. By spending the day with me, you’re allowing yourself to hit the pause button and take a breath while preserving your family’s memories. I don’t take this gift for granted.

The words written on each Google review means so much to me. Your kindness isn’t just meaningful for me, but it allows other families to read about your experience so we can help more families slow down and savour what matters most.

I took some time to look into my numbers for this year and am simply blown away by them. I had to share them with you.

Reflections Families

We had families travel from all around the Niagara region. The farthest client traveled all the way from Toronto. That might not seem too far, but with notorious Toronto traffic, that’s a feat. The closest client was just around the corner here in Grimsby.

Always Learning

Even after being in business for many years, I’ll never stop learning and striving to improve. This year, I invested over 1,000 hours of learning to improve every aspect of my business. My education included improving my newborn photography, advertising, marketing, social media, and sales.

Growing the Studio Wardrobe and Prop Collection

This year, we added 56 pieces to my client wardrobe. Some of these pieces are for mamas and shirts for dads, but we really expanded the toddlers' and kids’ wardrobes this year to accommodate different tastes, styles, and sizes for growing kids.

We’ve also stocked several soft baby blankets, and neutral toys that look great in photos, and have a new toy and treat basket that your child can choose from as a reward after their session with us!

Grateful for You

Thank you for allowing me to pause and reflect on this year. I learned so much, not only from my education, but by knowing all of you. My clients mean the world to me, and I treasure our time together. While we are documenting memories for you, you’re giving me the ability to see the world through your children’s eyes and the opportunity to see the wonderful job that you’re doing.

Thank you for everything.

🤍 Karen
