Are You Ready To Be Better?

Get excited about the new and improved Photography for Mamas Workshop 2018!

The course that will show you how to use your camera and take photos you're proud to show off is almost here!

Let's get real.

What if I told you, you will learn how do use your DSLR to it's fullest potential? What if you had the control over improving your images? Does any of this interest you? If so, this course is the one for you.

"It's not the camera, it's the artist using the camera that makes a great photo." This is partially true, but not completely. A good camera and lens helps, but having a creative mind is also important when creating exceptional photographs.

You're one step away from loving the images you take.

This six-week course is done online at your own pace. Every week, we will learn a brand new topic that will hopefully help you become more confident behind a lens.On the seventh and final week I will be hosting an open house at my home studio. This will be a chance for you to photograph your kids with your own camera, in my space, putting everything you've learned into practice.

I am so passionate about teaching you this content. You'll even get to see before and after comparisons from when I was learning how to use my DSLR. It's going to be awesome (and embarrassing for me, just sayin')!

"It may be crazy, but I only ever used my camera in auto mode. I did not have the knowledge to use the other settings and the camera manual was no help! This course helped me through those settings in an easy to follow and visual way, and I can finally get the pictures I want of my little boy! Thank you for helping to catch life's quick little moments!" - Jess Wasylin

Hi there, I'm Karen Byker from Grimsby, Ontario, Canada. I'm obsessed with newborn baby yawns, giggling kids and fancy flavoured tea. My tea is usually cold by the time I get to drink it, because I am a busy mama.

Being mother of four, I understand the overwhelm of the every day, but I've learned how to embrace and enjoy the beauty of it. I believe we should be able to enjoy this life we chose.

I've been a professional photographer since 2005. I've helped hundreds of mamas to slow down, pause and use photography as a reminder to take a breath.

I'd love to talk with you about documenting the beauty through your chaos. Let's chat!
