Your baby will only be a newborn for such a short period of time. I’ve been honored to learn in person from Kelly Brown and have participated in countless in-person and online newborn workshops. 2. Baby-Led Posing
Newborn photographers have the training, experience, and passion for working with brand new babes. My sessions are very much baby-led meaning we go with baby’s flow. Using my training, I may gently try to pose baby, but if the baby isn’t feeling a certain pose I immediately back off and let baby show me the way. In fact, I follow these four unique moments from newborn sessions to document your sweet newborn and your family.

The most important reason of all is safety. For professional newborn photographers, the newborn’s safety is critical. That means never forcing poses or trying unsafe poses. This means being highly trained and sensitive to your baby’s needs.

Karen turned this time for my family into something amazing. She took all the stress away by providing beautiful dresses to choose from (there is a lot!) and coordinating them with my husband and son. She takes the smallest little details of the colour palette and makes everything flow.
