Mama, You Are So Important

Mama, you are nurturing, loving, and kind. You’re there every step of the way, watching your little ones grow. Some parts will be difficult, but others will be miraculous. You’re proud of your little ones and want nothing but the best for them.

You’re a primary caretaker. You’re loving and caring for your babies every day, all day.

Mothers are so important, and you are no exception.

You’re important because you can be a disciplinarian when you have to. You see potential in your child, but would never miss a chance to instill some of your wisdom. You want your child to learn from their mistakes.

You’re important because you’re their number one cheerleader. You’d never miss something that is really important to them. You want nothing more than to see your child succeed and be happy.

You’re important because you’re their listening ear. If things don't go the right way, you’ll always have some kind of advice that will be helpful - no matter how big or small.

You’re important because you advocate for your child.

And if they were old enough, they’d say thanks, mom. Thanks for always being there. Thank you for being you.

About This Sweet Family

This is Christine, John and their new baby boy, Adam. They wanted neutral, classic and natural images from their newborn and family session. Portraits that document these fleeting moments so they can be remembered. Photos that showcase their love for each other and their new baby.

I adore every photo from their shoot, and it was so hard for me to pair them down for this post. The images at the end with Christine & John alone are especially sweet. They were high school sweethearts. They’ve been in love for 14 years, and their love has grown even stronger. You can see it in the way they look at each other, and in the way they look at this new baby boy their love has created. ❤

Hi there, I'm Karen! I am obsessed with newborn baby yawns, giggling kids, and fancy flavoured tea. I'm a mama of four who understands the busyness of everyday life and I've learned how to embrace and enjoy the beauty of it through lifestyle photography. I know what it’s like to look back on my children’s first years and feel like they flew by so quickly. I don’t want any other mamas to forget what their baby’s little fingers and toes looked like all curled up. My hope is that I can help you create albums and prints to serve as physical reminders of these sweet times throughout your baby’s early years. Contact me for info.
