Motherhood is busy, chaotic, and draining. But it’s also magical, delightful and wondrous. That’s why my photoshoot process includes steps that make you feel comfortable, save you time, and help you see the beauty in every day family moments.

Wardrobe for the whole family
As a mother, I know that one of the things that costs that most time and money when it comes to any event is outfit coordination. You could spend hours shopping, trying to find apparel for everyone in the family and deciding what goes together well.
I want your photography experience to feel luxurious from beginning to end. One of the biggest ways I can make your session seamless is by providing outfits for your family!
My curated wardrobe includes beautiful, timeless pieces for everyone, including Dad. You’ll never have to worry about finding coordinated outfits again (at least not for family photos). Just arrive ready to dress up with a variety of neutral staples, flowy dresses, and adorable onesies.
Hair & makeup for Mom
I’ve teamed up with hair & makeup artist, Christine Edwards, to provide styling to busy Mamas on the day of the session! Every mother deserves to feel cared for. Professional styling is just one more way I can help pamper you and help check something off your to-do list. We want you to feel confident and relaxed before you even get to the studio!
Christine has more than 15 years of experience in the beauty industry. She knows how to bring out the very best in you by enhancing your own natural beauty.
She also stays to assist me during your time at the studio. So if your hair is out of place, we need an extra set of hands, or we just need a good laugh, we’re prepared!
The session experience
With the wardrobe, the styling, and the playtime all taken care of for you, there is less for you to worry about at the session — I know how busy you are, Mama!
The studio space and amenities allow me to create a freeing and luxurious experience for your family. It's a kid-friendly, calming oasis for you all to relax. Natural light, neutral colours and greenery bring a bright, airy feel to your photos.
If you think your kids would love the outdoors, our beach and field sessions are available in the spring, summer, and fall.
You’ll dress in the clothing we prepared ahead of time from the extensive client wardrobe! We’ll jump right into the shoot by capturing some fun candid moments along with some relaxed, posed family shots. My easy-going direction and expert guidance helps your family feel more comfortable by focusing on what feels natural to you.
The studio has adorable props and toys for your kids to play with, and to keep Baby engaged and happy through the shoot. I also provide swaddles and comfy onesies to use during the session. These details add a sweet, simple touch to sibling photography too.
You’ll be pleasantly surprised at how much fun you’ll have at your session, making wonderful memories with your loved ones. Time goes by quickly, but you get to return to the studio soon to see your beautiful images!
Time for Image Reveal & Design
One week after your session, you’ll return for your Image Reveal & Design appointment. I help you decide which memories you’d like to print, and design heirloom photo albums and wall galleries with them.
You can forget about trying to DIY your family portrait wall, comparing countless frame styles and sizes, or accidentally ordering a too-small photo album. The Reflections experience takes care of everything for you! Together, we coordinate album or frame materials to match your style and home decor, and I review all the details to ensure the perfect products.
You can even leave wall gallery installation to me! We design your gallery together to fit your wall space and any potential photo additions in the future. Once your portraits are ready, I personally come to your home to install them for you.
Seeing your family story displayed proudly in your home is such a heartwarming moment, Mama.
