Where Do You Dream Of Being In 5 Years?

I can barely decide what to make for dinner tonight, so the question about where I want to be in five years is always tricky.

Here’s what I do know: My four kids will be 15, 17, 18, and 25. My youngest will be starting high school and our fun and silly time together will be much more limited. Some kids will be driving, others will have lessons scheduled, and we’ll probably have a teenage band practicing in our basement music room. The days will be busy, but I still want our bond to be so tight. I will miss the days of my kids running around us so much.

I’m putting in the work to make that dream a reality today by learning from the best educators I can find. I plan to make some changes this year that will allow me to serve my clients even better, making changes for the better. I’m taking on fewer clients this year so I can give each one my full attention. I’m not one to be shy about this because I’ve benefited so much from the transparency of others!

Where do you want to be in five years? Tell me in the comments!

If you're ready to chat more and would love more information on hiring me, then send me a message, or email me at karen@rolphoto.ca. Or if you know someone who is looking for newborn or family photography, then make sure to pass this along.

I also created a blog post all about the best time of year to have your family session, so be sure to check that out. I highly recommend that you book one of these in advance to save your spot. 😊

About This Beautiful Family

This is Jessica, Chris, Ethan, Alivia, Lois, and Jason. These loving parents really wanted some great family pictures. I loved the playfulness of their session.

We played so many games, from slow-motion superheroes to running circles around mom and dad at Casablanca Beach. Then we drove over to an open field in Grimsby, Ontario so we could run through the field and pick wildflowers.

Jessica and Chris chose to create a gorgeous wall of portraits of their four children. You’ll find photos of those below.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“We have had such amazing experiences with Karen. Her photos are top-notch. She thinks of everything and makes you feel so comfortable. I was worried and anxious to find clothes or how the kids would act but it ended up being a fun family night where they didn't want to leave. Karen supplied clothes and helped with choosing colours. I was so thankful! It turned out better than expected!” - Jessica Bartley

If seeing these works of art inspires you to create something just as beautiful for your little ones,
message me. I'd love to give you more information on booking a portrait session here at Reflections of Life.

Hi there, I'm Karen! I am obsessed with newborn baby yawns, giggling kids, and jumpsuits. I'm a mama of four who understands the busyness of everyday life. I've learned to love and enjoy it through lifestyle photography. I know what it’s like to look back on my children’s first years and feel like they flew by so quickly. I don’t want any other mamas to forget what their baby’s little fingers and toes looked like all curled up. My hope is that I can help you create albums and prints to serve as physical reminders of these sweet times throughout your baby’s early years. Contact me for info.
